Sears Outlet is always the #1 spot I recommend people to check first. The reason is because they have stores nationwide and have the widest selection of scratch and dent products, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

The only reason why someone may not want to shop here is if they want to support a mom and pop shop, in which case you can skip this part and scroll down to see some other options.

Sears Outlet in Houston, Texas

There are two Sears Outlets in Houston.

The closest one is on 5901 Griggs Rd Suite A, Houston, TX 77023. I did most of my shopping in this location and purchased both a refrigerator and a washer with absolutely no issues.

The employees were very friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. If you’re looking for any major brands like KitchenAid, LG, Whirlpool, Samsung, Bosch, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Maytag etc. you’ll most likely find a good selection at this location.

The other location is 11687 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077. I did visit this location once just to see if there was a greater variety of selections, however, I found that the one on Griggs Rd, had much more. I’m not sure if it was a seasonal thing, but my friends who have been to both also prefer the one on Griggs Rd.

I would still check this Sears Outlet if it’s near where you live. Make sure to call and ask if they actually have the appliance you are looking for. This way, you’ll not only save time but some gas as well.

Solo Clearance Center

If you can’t find what you’re looking for at a Sears Outlet, I recommend checking out Solo Clearance Center.

They are Houston’s only Whirlpool Clearance Center, so they sell scratch and dent appliances that come directly from Whirlpool at up to 50% off regular retail prices. If you are a big fan of this brand, Solo Clearance Center would be the perfect place to check out.

They carry heavily discounted refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers and microwaves. They also carry brands like Maytag and KitchenAid.

Acceptance Appliance – Factory Approved Warehouse Outlet

A long-running family owned appliance store that was started in 1983, Acceptance Appliance offers a variety of kitchen and laundry appliances at great prices. They also have scratch and dent showroom which you can visit in person.

Their specialty is GE Appliances that are unboxed new units or units at wholesale and less than wholesale prices. If you’re looking for GE scratch and dent appliances, look no further. Acceptance Appliance is where you want to start looking.
